How to Download Files

If you need help with downloads:

1. Get a teenager.

or

2. Follow these instructions:

Open the e-mail from Steve Axtell. In the window that opens, click the word "Download" (in blue, on the right side). In the next window, check "Download files to my computer" on the right-hand side. In the new window, click the green "Download" box. Click "save file" in the dialog box that opens, then click "ok". Save the file to a location where you can easily find them again (I like to save to the Desktop. You can always move the files later). The download will show up as a .zip folder. Click on the folder to open, then click on "extract all files". In the new window, click on the MP3 icon to open the audio file, or click on the "word" icon, if you have downloaded an e-book. The file will be automatically opened by the appropriate default program by your computer. Audio files will most likely be opened by Itunes or Windows Media Player. E-books will be opened by Word. Audios can be burned to CD's, or put on an MP3 player (follow the instructions for the audio program that you are using).

3. If all of this is overwhelming, shoot an e-mail to me with your mailing address, and I'll send you hard copies (with the exception of e-books. Give me your phone # & I'll talk you through downloading e-books).

If you have any problems at all, please feel free to give me a call. 303-250-5138
